New National Amateur Champion

Meet the 2025 National Amateur Champion, the winner of this week's event held in Mondovi, Wisconsin.

NAFC-FC Labrador Springs Black Tie Affair is owned by Jack Gwaltney, III, Jack Gwaltney, Jr., MD and Joshua Williams and was handled by Jack III. The team bested more than 100 others in 10 series of competition.

Tux is sired by FC Beaverdam's Las Vegas Ace and his dam is Kousa of Fowles Delight. He was bred by Blaine Phillips.

Tux is a 5.5 year old black male Labrador Retriever. In his career to date he has earned 66 All-Age points including 10 AA wins. He has previously qualified for one National and two National Amateurs. He also competed in the National Derby. and went eight series.

He earned his FC at 3.6 years old and his AFC at 3.5 years old. He also won a Double Header in 2024 at Palmetto.
