THE ROAD TO THE US NATIONAL

The National, taking place this year in Corning, California, is a little over half way through. We thought you’d like to see some stats on the dogs, handlers and owners.

Good luck to all!

119 dogs qualified this year, 101 were entered and 98 started the event.

The number of qualifiers has been growing over the years.

P.S. Check out our Facebook pageRR-NRC-Corning-2019 for photos and updates.

ABOUT THE DOGS

  • 55 of the 119 dogs qualified for the first time
  • Most of those that did qualify had points to spare

  • 8 additional dogs had the points but lacked a win
  • 75 additional dogs had the win but not the points (6 needed just a half point)

Many dogs (64 in fact), had competed in at least one previous National.
