Retriever Results was created to fill a need to present objective information about the sport of field trials and hunting tests.
The Retriever Results Database includes results from January 1995 for US Field Trials, August 2009 for US Hunt Tests and from March 1995 for Canadian Field Trials. This includes results from National events as far back as possible. We are also slowly adding even more history. First check the detail page on the Profile Scorecard to be sure we have all your results. If a result is missing and took place in the period we cover, send us an email telling us the name of the dog, handler, event, stake, date and result. We will do some additional research and make any changes indicated.
One of the most challenging aspects of creating and maintaining the Retriever Results database is getting the handler right. If we are in error, send us an email and let us know what the correct information should be.
Just send us an email with the photo with the dog's AKC registered name. We will load it onto the site.
We’re probably updating the site at the same time that you’re trying to use it. Just close your browser and try again. Since updates take only a few minutes, it should be complete by the time you try again. If the problem persists, send us an email.

The information in Retriever Results is drawn from a number of sources we believe to be reliable. Whenever possible, results are checked against at least two sources. That said, sometimes we or our sources make mistakes. If you see one of these mistakes, let us know and we’ll correct it.
The newsletters and website are published by Josie Ottman and Russ Iuliano. Josie and Russ are partners in a consulting business during the day and work on projects like Retriever Results in their spare time. Josie participates in field trials; Russ is an active hunter and outdoorsman.
Once the free preview period ends, you'll be able to add up to 25 dogs as part of My Dogs. And for an extra $10 per year, you'll be able to have up to 250 dogs!
Take a moment and add us (feedback@retrieverresults.com) to your address book. That way your Internet provider will know you want to keep getting all the latest news, whether it's for US & Canadian Field Trials and/or US Hunting Tests. If you use the GMail app or website for your email you may find the service puts the newsletter into the "Promotions" folder. To receive it in your Inbox instead, drag it to the Inbox. You may have to do this a few times to help the system "learn" that that is where you'd like to receive it.

The number of master passes is automatically appended to a dog's title (e.g., MH20). While being a National qualifier can count as two passes towards the subsequent year's National, being a National qualifier counts as one pass when tabulating passes that are appended to a dog's title.
Most of our updates occur over the weekend and on Monday and Tuesday. That said, we do maintenance updates on the site at just about any time. If you notice that information is missing or incorrect, please get in touch at feedback@retrieverresults.com.
